Sweet Sweet Jamaica

Jamaica, despite all her struggles and challenges remains one of the most beautiful, charming, exotic and hospitable places on earth. Notwithstanding the crime and violence which has dogged the country in recent times, the will and determination of its people remain fervent.

Cultural Diversity
Jamaica's motto says: "Out of many one people", with good reason I must say. There is a rich blend of ethnicity and culture which puts good meaning in the popular saying "variety is the spice of life". We have Indians, Syrians, Chinese, Europeans, Japanese, and as many groups as you can think of, they can be found here.

Iconic Music
Our rich history when it comes to music goes without saying. The birthplace of Bob Marley and Reggae music, Jamaica has much to boast about. We have set a trend that many have followed. Our music not only provides entertainment, but it uplifts, edifies and inspires.

Sun, Sand and Sea
How can I mention Jamaica and not talk about its beautiful white sand beaches loved by untold numbers and visited by millions. Our warm tropical climate enjoyed all year round provides the perfect escape for so many who otherwise would have to endure the torture of bitterly cold winters.

Land, Wood and Water
As much as we are blessed with white sand beaches, pristine waters and radiant sunshine, we are also blessed with bountiful flora, towering mountains, graceful hills, unspoiled forestry and crystal clear water sources.

Yes, we have it all. So much has been bestowed upon its inhabitants, so much has been given. And as the good book says, to whom much is given, much is expected. So we must protect Jamaica, we must preserve her bounty and beauty. There is so much that Jamaica has to offer, so let us do our part in preserving and promoting life, love and peace.
